S.V.O.C. 為 Standard-Vacuum Oil Company（美孚石油與紐澤西標準石油合資的「標準真空石油公司」，常被簡稱為 Stanvac）。
Standard Oil 自 1893 年開始在日本設立分公司 / 辦事處開展石油業務，1961 年，Stanvac 因反托拉斯與全球佈局調整，準備將遠東業務拆解為美孚（Mobil）與埃索（Esso），並於 1961 - 1962 年正式解體。
此錶為 1961 年 Standard-Vacuum Oil Company 日本分公司解體 / 更名之際，頒發給日本高階主管或資深員工的紀念錶。

歐米茄 500 系列自動機芯家族中最頂級的無日曆天文台認證（COSC）機芯之一，擁有 24 顆紅寶石、振頻 19,800 vph，被鐘錶收藏界公認為歐米茄黃金時代（1950s – 1960s）最穩定、精準且耐用的自動機芯。
採用鵝頸微調（Swanneck regulator），機芯夾板夾層帶有高級的紅銅鍍層（Copper-colored finish）。
